The Advantage Check gives you crucial payroll confidentiality with the freedom from check reconciliation and other administrative headaches.

The Advantage Check covers it all, with net pay, withholding, deductions and payroll taxes all calculated and accounted for. Your employees receive signed and sealed checks (printed with an authorized Advantage signature), while your business benefits with minimized bookkeeping chores and costly banking fees:

  • Advantage is responsible for check reconciliation
  • No need for a separate payroll account for your business
  • No bank charges for check clearing
  • One debit per payroll covers all payroll costs

Expertly Handled Direct Deposit

More and more employees are choosing to have their pay deposited directly into one or more of their bank accounts, ensuring that the money is safe and quickly available without fear of lost or stolen checks...or a missed payday due to illness, bad weather or vacation.

Advantage handles direct deposits with the same high level of accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality we bring to all of our payroll processing and other value-added services. Regardless of the check option you choose (Advantage or client owned), your employees will enjoy the benefits of direct deposit.

The Advantage system also features:

  • Up to 8 direct deposits (into different financial institutions) can be made per employee...and the first three are free!
  • Employees can split their earnings, with a portion directly deposited and the remainder paid by paper check.
  • Sealed employee payroll statements detail all earnings, deductions, deposits and other pertinent information.

Our experience and well-established relationship with the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system (utilized by over 99% of all U.S. financial institutions) saves you the considerable time and expense of setting up a direct deposit program yourself. You'll also realize significant productivity gains, saving time not only in the delivery of checks, but in your employees' need to stand in line at a bank!

Employer-Owned Account

If you choose to forego the benefits of our central Advantage payroll checking account, Advantage can still process your payroll and print checks drawn on your own account. Advantage can also process vendor checks through client-owned accounts if required (this can be done through either type of account, Advantage or client owned). The employer can sign or let the system laser sign these checks.

The employee will receive a detailed check stub, which includes all pertinent employee information, a breakdown of current and YTD earnings and deductions, withholding tax, pay period beginning, ending and pay dates.
